A tell revealing central authority over the official line

August 10th, 2012

The most useful tells are short and sweet – you twit someone with something, and their response reveal their real beliefs and real motivations.  This tell is, unfortunately, long, tedious and complex, but it not only reveals an elite that believes or pretends to believe in official truth absolutely regardless of evidence, but reveals that there is an official line, and the politically correct know it – reveals that they do not just believe certain improbable things because its is fashionable, or because it is what all the right people believe, they believe in the edicts of a a highly centralized authority, after the fashion of Orwell’s Winston Smith, believe because they are damned well told to, fear punishment from on high for heresy, that they are not speaking what they believe, nor what is fashionable to believe, nor what is high status to believe, but what they are damned well told to believe, like communist party members who would spout the official line, and claim to have always spouted that line, and that the line had never changed, even when the line had reversed itself yesterday. Where the doctrine of equalism comes from

August 7th, 2012

“View from the right” is Christian rightist, and there they are arguing all men are made in the image of God, and therefore, equally entitled to rights and dignity.

Of course, they can argue this without being totally insane since they believe that everyone has an immortal soul inside, regardless of physical and mental inequality and propensity to depraved acts, but when Christians ditched their Christianity, while retaining equalism, thus becoming progressives, which began with the anti slavery movement and was more or less completed in the late 1940s, early 1950s, then, having ditched immortal souls, they then had to argue that men and women, blacks and whites, and so on and so forth were all literally equal in mean and distribution, which position is transparently insane and contrary to casual observation and common sense. The left singularity continues

Moving left faster

Increased repression brings increased leftism, increased leftism brings increased repression, in an ever tighter circle that turns ever faster.  This is the left singularity Read the rest of this entry »

Not the cognitive elite

July 29th, 2012

Government has accomplished some mighty impressive things, the most impressive being the Manhattan project (nuclear bombs and nuclear energy), and the second most impressive being the landing on the moon.

After Hiroshima, and before the moon landing, people said “Why don’t we (meaning government) have a Manhattan project to do X”

After the landing on the moon, people said “If we (meaning government) can put a man on the moon, why cannot we do X”

Well guess what, boys and girls.  Today we can’t put a man on the moon. Read the rest of this entry »

Krugman on supply side

July 25th, 2012

By and large, the elite ignores the argument that our economic crisis is supply side, as if no one could possibly be so crazy, ignorant and stupid as to make such an obviously silly argument.

However, when Professor Pedro Schwartz argued that the problem is supply side, Krugman responded passionately rather than ignoring and mischaracterizing the argument.: Read the rest of this entry »

Economic Decline measured by Big Macs per hour

July 21st, 2012

On the basis of big mac per hour rate, living standards in the US fell 9% between 2007 and 2011, two and half percent a year. This agrees pretty well with cars and meat (two percent fewer cars and two percent less meat per person per year.)

Not the Jews

July 20th, 2012

If someone thinks the Jews are behind the collapse of our civilization, he has to think the rot set in after 1950, for in the anglosphere, Jews were substantially excluded from the establishment until after 1954.

Those who can see has a review of the early twentieth century showing rot several decades before that. Read the rest of this entry »

Cthulhu for president!

July 19th, 2012

Romney and Obama are debating capitalism, freedom, and free markets. Which makes it sound as though the election matters. If American people vote for Obama, they will have voted against capitalism, freedom, and free markets, and if they vote for Romney, they will have voted for capitalism, freedom, and free markets.

But no matter what they vote for it will make no difference. Vote Obama, you won’t get socialism, but crony capitalism, aka national socialism, vote Romney, you won’t get freedom and free markets, but crony capitalism, aka national socialism.

Vote Cthulhu!

Why vote for the lesser evil?

Occupy LA performs riot theater

July 15th, 2012

Michael Blaze is a black artist and art entrepreneur who is sufficiently white, middle class, and upwardly mobile that if he shot a black criminal, would promptly be declared white by Mainstream Media. He is one of those blacks that whiter people like to associate with to prove they are not prejudiced without risking getting mugged, and, like those whiter people, is a good progressive.

He gives us an on the spot report of the occupy riot against LA Art Walk, in which he tells us that if it was black criminals rioting the police response would be very different, by which he presumably means a lot more effective. At 4:10 into the video he tells us

“people are throwing cans, bottles … agitators. There are maybe fifty or a hundred police, and they are taking no action.”

Christianity yields to Zoism

July 9th, 2012

(That is Zoism, the politically incorrect term for primitive religion, not Zionism, the theory that Jews need a homeland and heavy weapons because people keep trying to kill them)

Theoretically, most western people still consider themselves Christian – including those that think that Jesus gay married Buddha and from time to time the loving couple visit earth in a flying saucer. But it is not the Christianity of 1950 or 1960. In the period 1900 to 1970, “Christianity” underwent changes that would have rendered it scarcely recognizable to anyone from the past two millenia, changes that render it psychologically inconsistent and no longer viable as religion. Christianity’s time has ended, and the question is what system shall replace it, the main contenders now being Islam, itself afflicted by a related deadly ailment, and state sponsored Gaia worship. Mormonism and Orthodox Judaism are the healthiest remaining deistic religions, and will win in the long run if deism wins, but it is not obvious that deism will win. Read the rest of this entry »
